At Yoga Crew it's about supporting one another and witnessing our community thrive collectively, while building strong foundations of trust, accountability, and care. Sometimes, this means you may give more than others.

Our goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access yoga and enjoy the transformative benefits of a regular practice. Our pricing structure is inspired by the ‘green bottle model,’ developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, which allows you to assess where you fit on the sliding scale based on your financial circumstances. Please review all available options! You may not agree with every statement, but the option with the most yes responses will indicate your contribution. If you rely on support from a partner, parents, or family, please respond to the questions using "we instead of "I."

  • The highest dollar cost reflects the true cost of the service. If you can comfortably meet all of your basic* needs (as we can see in the full green bottle), if you are able to pay for your ‘wants’ and spend little time worried about securing necessities in your life - this may suggest that you have economic privileges' and that the full price is for you.

  • The middle range cost is for those who may fall somewhere on the spectrum between the bottom cost and full fee. If you are struggling to overcome debt, build savings or move away from paycheck to paycheck living but have access to steady income and are not spending most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc., you belong here.

  • The bottom cost represents an honest acknowledgment that there those whose economic circumstances would prevent them from accessing this service if there was not be a deliberate opportunity made for them to access at a cost that is reflective of their economic realities. The green bottle on the left provides some indicators on whether this might be where you fall on the scale.

  • $25: Reflects the actual rate of the class.

  • $20: For those with some expendable income.*

  • $15 For those meeting basic needs with little or no expendable income.**

Also please consider what is suitable for you and also honours the energy and work that I bring to this space. The top end of the scale ensures that I am being paid for the work that I do, while also sustaining those who may only be able to access the services at the lower end of the scale. In this way, those with more economic privileges' are directly supporting others within our community to have access to wellness activities.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we practice. We pay our deep and ongoing respect to their Elders past and present, for they hold safely the memories, the culture, the traditions and the hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation whilst also recognizing that they have never ceded sovereignty, and remain strong in their enduring connection to this land and waterways.
